Summer Special - Mëttesstonn

During the summer holidays we offer the traditional "Mëttesstonn" program:

Between 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., you can join the training at any time to train at your convenience. The coach will adapt the exercises to your level of practice and your time availability to guarantee you an adapted training.

  • Program:

Monday: Strength
Tuesday: Endurance
Wednesday: Mobility
Thursday: Coordination
Friday: Power

  • Strength:
Muscle training strengthens the muscles and promotes muscle growth. Muscles not only give you an aesthetic advantage, but above all they support the bones, joints and spine and prevent, among other things, age-related diseases (osteoporosis, etc.).

  • Endurance:
Cardiovascular training is the basis of our fitness. It helps to cope with everyday challenges more easily and to lead a more active and self-determined life. Specific exercises can strengthen the heart, boost metabolism and improve blood levels.

  • Mobility:
Mobility and flexibility training are essential to release the unnecessary tensions and thus maintain the full mobility of your body. A flexible and relaxed muscle is more durable and recovers much faster after exercise, which in turn gives you a feeling of lightness during and after exercise. This targeted training thus relaxes the whole body and gives you a better sense of well-being in everyday life.

  • Coordination:
Coordination plays a big role in every little movement in everyday life and it is very important to constantly promote it. A balanced coordination allows you to perform the movements in a more controlled way, which in turn protects the body from abrupt movements. Balance and reaction exercises are in harmony with coordination and are therefore also trained.

Trunk stability ensures the transmission of power between the upper and lower body. If there is a deficiency here, the wear and tear of the spine as well as the intervertebral discs is increased. Daily sitting weakens the trunk muscles and leads to an increased risk of injury. Targeted exercises strengthen this very area to lead a more comfortable life without pain.

  • Explosive Strength:
When thinking of explosive strength, many people immediately think of competitive athletes. But the assumption that only competitive athletes benefit from it is not true. The execution of daily movements is partly made possible by a high explosive power; for example, getting up from a chair or climbing stairs, where the own body must be accelerated within fractions of a second.
